Building relationships with key decision makers at the district level and selling Newsela’s products.. Employing solution-based selling techniques and solution mapping.. Creating and maintaining a sales pipeline and strategic account plans.. Designing lead generation campaigns and managing sales through the sales lifecycle.. Meeting in-person with school and district leaders for presentations and negotiations.. Understanding the territory's funding, state initiatives, and K-12 education landscape.. Being part of a regional sales team and representing Newsela in the market.. Interacting with executive leadership for deal strategies and market trends.. Managing priorities independently and exercising discretion on significant matters.. Proven Account Executive with 2+ years of success selling supplemental products to school districts in the K12 market.. Experience in networking, prospecting, and building a pipeline.. Well-versed in MEDDPICC sales methodology.. Proven success in forecasting business in the EdTech industry.. Willingness to travel regularly to meet customers and prospects.. Pay range:. $90K - $105K.
