Senior Storage Infrastructure Architect. , you will support a large-scale storage modernization and data migration initiative within a regulated enterprise environment. The role operates in a consulting capacity, providing architectural and subject matter expertise across current-state assessment, target-state design, and migration planning for multi-petabyte data environments. . The position involves direct engagement with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams to guide architectural decisions and provide technical oversight throughout the initiative.  . 💻.  Who You Are: . You are a senior storage architect with experience designing and governing enterprise storage and data protection architectures in regulated environments. You bring a disciplined, risk-aware approach to architecture, with the ability to clearly define scope, constraints, assumptions, and trade-offs. You are experienced in advising implementation teams rather than executing operational tasks, and you are comfortable engaging directly with senior technical stakeholders. . 📍 . Work Type: . Location: Remote, Canada or within GTA . Vacancy Type: This role is a newly created position . Engagement Type: Contract (6 months) . 🎯.  What You’ll Do (Your Superpowers): . Perform structured current-state assessments of enterprise storage and data protection environments, with emphasis on Dell ECS, Dell Data Domain, and Dell NetWorker platforms . Identify architectural constraints, dependencies, and risk factors associated with large-scale data storage and migration in regulated environments . Define target-state storage and data protection architectures aligned with scalability, resiliency, compliance, and performance requirements . Develop migration strategies for petabyte-scale data sets, including sequencing, validation, cutover, and rollback considerations . Produce and maintain architectural artifacts, including logical designs, high-level physical designs, and migration approach documentation . Provide technical governance and architectural oversight to internal and client implementation teams executing the migration . Review and validate implementation designs and plans for alignment with the approved architecture . Participate in technical deliberations, design reviews, and risk discussions with client stakeholders . Act as a senior technical advisor and escalation point for architecture-related decisions throughout the engagement .  . ⭐.  What We’re Looking For (Our Wishlist): . Senior-level background in storage infrastructure architecture within large, complex enterprise environments . Architectural ownership of solutions based on Dell ECS and Dell Data Domain platforms . Leadership of large-scale on-premises to cloud or hybrid storage migration initiatives . Exposure to regulated environments with associated compliance, risk, and governance considerations . Deep understanding of enterprise backup and data protection architectures, including Dell NetWorker . Track record of architectural risk assessment and definition of appropriate mitigation strategies . Demonstrated ability to communicate and defend architectural decisions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in enterprise environments . Operation in a consulting or advisory capacity as well as guiding delivery teams  .  . 🔥 . What Makes This Role Exciting? .
