Technical Writer at CAKE.com. 📍 Remote | Morning Shift. We’re looking for a skilled Technical Writer to turn complex product features into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. You’ll guide users through Clockify, Pumble, and Plaky with in-depth guides, FAQs, and getting-started materials. This role involves testing features, gathering information from various sources, and keeping all documentation accurate, up to date, and approachable. You’ll update existing content for new releases and create fresh guides for new features—helping users find the answers they need quickly, clearly, and confidently.. What You'll Do. . Write clear, helpful, and engaging documentation like help articles, FAQs, tutorials, guides, and knowledge base content for our apps.. . Maintain and refine existing documentation to ensure it aligns with product updates and evolving user needs. . . Test the apps and their documentation to ensure everything is accurate and easy to follow.. . Regularly review support tickets to spot common questions and create content that answers them before they’re even asked.. . Collaborate closely with teams across the company to deeply understand our apps and what users need to succeed.. . Take ownership of your work — you're a selfstarter who can manage your tasks and find solutions independently.. . . . Perfect English writing and editing skills — you know how to explain things clearly and simply.. . 1+ year of experience writing technical content that’s easy to understand for a variety of audiences.. . A knack for learning new tools, software, and processes quickly — you’re naturally curious and tech-savvy.. . The ability to break down complex ideas into simple steps that anyone can follow.. . Experience creating visuals like screenshots, infographics, or workflows to support your writing.. . Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress or similar).. . . Nice-To-Haves. . .
